David Hockney
David Hockney is an artist who created artwork by piecing images of the same object from different views together to create the image again. I replicated his artwork with my own photo on Photoshop.

Downtown Mall Field Trip
Find the 4 differences!

Pictures from the Jefferson and the Paramount
For the 4 differences pictures I mostly used the clone tool to change things and for the 2 theatre images I used camera raw and then layered some parts on photoshop.
Reflections
I chose to create a puddle reflection using a street image and another image that I flipped and masked to fit inside the puddle.

Warm Colors
Warm colors are red, orange, and yellow. I emphasized them by changing the white balance to a more warm tone rather than a cool tone.
Collage
I chose to replicate the work of Michel Keck (top image). I used the same style of using many different patterns to fill the dog and used a black outline of the dog as well.

Mid-term
This was the creative portion of my Digital Imaging 1 Mid-term Exam. We were required to select 3 people and move them onto the street background. Then we had to make shadows for them as well. Finally, we had to mask on the fire hydrant.

Jumping off the Page

Macro
I took all of these pictures using the macro setting on my camera. The macro setting allows you to take pictures close up with the most detail. After I took these I then sharpened them using the High Pass sharpening tool which adds contrast to the outside of lines to make the image appear sharper.

Shooting assignment Rule of Thirds
For this assignment, I took some pictures around my neighborhood. Personally, I don't really like using rule of thirds to take my pictures but it does make for a good composition.
Layer mask
For this project we took multiple images from the internet and masked them together. I used a sky image with a kite, a ground image, a tree and hot air baloon image, an image of childrem playing, an airplane image, and a dog image.

Carter Mountain field trip
For this project, we took a field trip to Carter Mountain. We were required to take 25 pictures there and the 5 images above were color corrected, color toned, and/or had text added to them. I really enjoyed the Carter Mountain field trip because we got to go where ever we wanted with our friends and also I got donuts! :)
